Sweet Ruby Special

Just a few months ago, 9-year old Ruby sent us a donation after she dedicated the weekend to selling hand-squeezed lemon and limeade (with fresh mint). She said she likes to give money to charities that help kids.The Patachou Foundation's Founder and Owner of Cafés Patachou, Martha Hoover, was so touched by Ruby and her generous spirit. She has decided to name a new sandwich on the Café Patachou menu for Ruby in honor our 9-year-old fundraiser.The Sweet Ruby Special is a Southern-style sweet waffle-iron grilled cheese made with Cheddar (and a bit of sugar) served with a cup of Patachou's world-famous Tomato Artichoke soup. All of the proceeds from the new sandwich go straight to the foundation.
