Local company Earthwave Technologies was one of The Patachou Foundation's first corporate volunteer partners. Staff members frequently serve after-school meals to students at James Whitcomb Riley School 43.How did Earthwave Technologies' relationship with The Patachou Foundation begin?I was familiar with the Patachou restaurants and had experienced their commitment to quality and their unique culture: when I found out about the foundation and their mission, we investigated it further and decided to get involved.How does Earthwave Technologies support The Patachou Foundation?Through financial support but more importantly through volunteering to serve at schools and other functions.What about The Patachou Foundation's mission inspires you?Kids. They are vulnerable and innocent, and if they are not fed (physically and spiritually) properly, they need to be. So we share the passion with the people in the foundation.What has been the coolest part of your experience supporting The Patachou Foundation so far?Kids, relationship with kids and the growth our team members have experienced by serving the kids.Beyond keeping bellies full, why does food (and food access) matter?It can show the kids that people, strangers, care about them. This may be lost on some but it’s not on all. Also, food education is key and can make a difference in the future.What was your favorite snack as a kid?Candy probably.What's your favorite food memory? Fried Chicken!!!
