Join us for an inspiring evening with Chef Ann Cooper at the 2018 Speakers Forum, our annual fundraiser. Chef Ann, also known as the Renegade Lunch Lady, is an outspoken voice of reform advocating for whole, fresh ingredients in school meals and has spoken as a woman in food for decades. After working in restaurants for over 20 years, she has transformed school lunchrooms across the nation.
Chef Ann is the author of three best-selling books and a frequent TED Talk presenter. She has been recognized as a W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Food & Society Policy Fellow and previously served as President of Women Chefs and Restaurateurs, an industry group that leverages the voices of talented women. Chef Ann worked alongside First Lady Michelle Obama and helped to create the White House Garden.The 2018 Patachou Foundation Speakers Forum, our signature fundraising event, will take place on Thursday, April 12 at 6:30 pm at the Indianapolis Art Center.
