Season Of Gratitude: Indianapolis Colts
‘Tis the season of gratitude! The Patachou Foundation is looking back over the past year with deep appreciation for the many partners, neighbors, and friends who have been on our team throughout 2021. Together, we’ve served over 60,000 scratch-made meals for kids and fought against the root causes of hunger. Thank you!
We’re feeling especially grateful for one of our newest partners, the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are committed to improving the lives of our fellow Hoosiers by building a healthy, inclusive and compassionate community.
Last month on Giving Tuesday, the Indianapolis Colts and The Patachou Foundation kicked off a new community partnership to raise awareness about food insecurity and serve scratch-made meals to Indianapolis kids who face hunger daily. The partnership officially launched November 30 with Colts players serving lunch to middle school students at Vanguard Collegiate of Indianapolis.
“We are grateful the Indianapolis Colts are a part of our hunger-fighting team,” said Matthew Feltrop, executive director of The Patachou Foundation. “Their commitment to making an authentic impact in our community will help us serve more than 75,000 scratch-made meals to kids in 2022.”
The Colts partnership will also include a fresh food pop-up in a local neighborhood, support for The Patachou Foundation’s delivery vehicle, and a video series to raise awareness about the value of food.
