Indianapolis Colts, Patachou Foundation Support Community Block Party and Fresh Food Giveaway in Arlington Woods
On Thursday, May 12, The Indianapolis Colts joined with The Patachou Foundation and community partners to support the inaugural Arlington Woods Community Block Party. The event, held at Sankofa School of Success at Arlington Woods School 99, featured food trucks, games, educational activities, live music, dancing with Colts Cheerleaders, and booths from community partners such as Old National Bank and The Indianapolis Public Library.
The Patachou Foundation served over 500 free meals including fresh fruit and salad alongside local food truck businesses that were hired to serve nutritious meals.
In partnership with Midwest Food Bank, 10 pallets of produce and groceries were given away to stock the pantries of neighborhood families. Additionally, MidEast Church of Christ gathered and distributed clothing and household items for the neighborhood. A true community event, more than 500 neighbors from throughout the Arlington Woods neighborhood took part in the evening.
We’d like to thank the other community partners who made the block party possible, including:
